In 2019 WiCR commissioned 2 films looking at careers and volunteering opportunities in Community Rail. Produced and directed by Samantha Dowd, a BA Hons undergraduate in Film and Media Studies, the films take you on a journey through Community Rail. The railway and community rail are not promoted well as career opportunities generally in schools and colleges but they offer some fantastic career pathways and volunteering opportunities. Our films help to get the message out there and are available on YouTube –Careers in Community Rail and Volunteering & Projects in Community Rail . These videos have been viewed and shared by hundreds of people but we need them to be shared more widely among our younger generations, so please continue to share with your contacts.
